Operations Assistant

Location: Downers Grove, IL

ProStockHockey.com is an online hockey store that sells - you guessed it - pro stock hockey equipment! Our inventory includes sticks, gloves, pants, skates, helmets and other hockey gear that was originally made to be used by NHL players. The ProStockHockey.com team consists of current and former hockey players and diehard fans that eat sleep and breathe hockey.

We are looking for an individual that not only loves the game of hockey but someone that gets excited to see, touch and feel hockey sticks and equipment. We have a great team of individuals looking for another teammate that can help us in our continued growth of this company. Responsibilities:

  • Highly motivated to learn about hockey equipment and current trends of the game.
  • Order fulfillment (pulling products, preparing orders for shipment, etc.)
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Professional phone manners with customers in order to maintain our high standards of customer service.
  • Maintain, organize and clean warehouse. 

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to work M-F in our Downers Grove warehouse (we are an e-commerce business only, so there is no in person customer contact)
  • Previous hockey experience and/or knowledge of hockey products is a must!
  • Any knowledge of goalie equipment is an added bonus!
  • A positive attitude and knowing how to be a team player.
  • Passion to learn more and stay updated about new equipment releases.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items weighing 50lbs+
